Create Your Own Hero

You will be creating your own super hero. This hero can be a reflection of you, only with powers, or a completely different person… (A girl could create a hero and a guy could create a heroine). You also may create an entire race/alien species, but that is a lot of back-story to create. Below is an image of the superhero, Warhawk (the man in green), and villainess, Cerebra (the woman in red) that I created.

There are many elements that you will need to create for your hero or villain: an image and their origins story for starters. Below is an outline and rubric to help you get started.

You will also be presenting your hero to the class using VoiceThread.

Your VoiceThread should summarize the following elements from your origins story:

1. How did you gain your powers?

2. Who is your arch nemesis?

3. Explain a battle your have been engaged in or how you fight for justice or evil?

4. Information on your secret identify.
