Greek Couples: The Lovers

Page history last edited by Courtney Rankin 8 years, 11 months ago

Throughout history, great love stories have been remembered and passed down through the ages to inspire new romance. You have been assigned to read one of those love stories from Ancient Greece. Love stories today are admired and celebrated in different, less timeless ways. You will be entering the couple assigned to you and your partner into a LOVE STORY CONTEST by telling their romantic story.

Win a trip to Greece!

All you have to do is tell your romantic story (give us all the lovey, dovey details).

The story with the most votes from the public wins the trip!

Read the love story of Cupid and Psyche as your example.

Closure: As a modern reader, with modern beliefs about romance, why do we find these "romantic" stories odd? Please respond in the comment box below.
